A wolf the size of a pony, grey-black, with a mane over its shoulders. Wild ones hunt at night in one to three, and go for anyone who is not an orc - the orcs are the only ones who ever broke a warg to the saddle. The Black Tusk and the herders ride them. Kill a warg's rider and it shakes off its harness, its eyes go red, and you are the nearest thing to hand.
